We’ve got creative new leadership.

Skyhook is growing, and we’re making some exciting changes around the office. Namely, we recently named John Gough, our creative director, as a partner. John will join owner Dallin Harris in providing strategic direction for Skyhook, and will also continue to oversee all creative work for clients. The move comes at a high point for Skyhook; the company generated the highest monthly revenue in its four-year history in October 2012.

“Skyhook is growing at a speed that is unprecedented in our short history,” said Dallin. “We need strong, thoughtful leadership to continue to impress our clients, empower our employees and grow to be the force in the Valley marketing industry that we know we can be. John is the person to help take us there.”

John didn’t follow the typical route to partner of a marketing agency.

While attending Arizona State University, he studied to work as a landscape architect. But after graduation in 2009, John accepted the opportunity to apply his creativity to graphic design and marketing at the then-fledgling Skyhook. Since his hire, John has consistently provided quality, functional website designs for Skyhook’s clients, and has also furthered the company’s cultural emphasis on accountability, excellence and teamwork.

“Skyhook believed a landscape architect could become a marketing creative director, and now the company has entrusted me with the responsibility to generate continued success for Skyhook and our clients,” said John. “I am truly thankful for the opportunity and look forward to helping Skyhook continue to thrive in the present and build for the future.”
