We are excited to announce that our own founder and president, Dallin Harris, has been named one of Arizona’s most promising entrepreneurs by The Arizona Republic. At age 27, he is one of the youngest recipients included on the 2012 list of the Republic’s annual “35 Entrepreneurs 35 and Under.”

Under Dallin’s vision and direction, Skyhook has gone from startup to competitive agency in just four years. Dallin was selected from more than 100 applicants by an independent panel that included Republic editors, advisory board members and business experts.

“Generating revenue for Skyhook’s clients has always been my greatest measure of my success, but it’s truly gratifying to be recognized by The Arizona Republic for my entrepreneurial achievements,” said Dallin. “I believe in what entrepreneurship can do for the world, and I am honored to be included among the talented and determined professionals named on this year’s list.”

Armed with a passion for computers and a $5,000 loan from his parents, Dallin started Skyhook in 2008 while still a junior at Arizona State University. Four years later, Skyhook now has 10 employees and many noteworthy clients and partners, and is projecting $900,000 in revenue for 2012.

In addition to Dallin’s success with Skyhook, he is also heavily involved in training other young entrepreneurs. He regularly teaches classes in Spanish via Skype to students at the Academy for Creating Enterprise in Mexico as a way to pay forward the guidance and advice he has received in his entrepreneurial pursuits.

“I hope what I have created with Skyhook can serve as an example to the next generation of entrepreneurs,” said Dallin. “If you have an idea and are willing to work hard, run with it. You can create your own opportunities for success.”

Congratulations from the entire Skyhook team, Dallin!
